CMS has set clinical quality benchmarks for Fresenius. Fresenius has met or exceeded all of them. Additionally, Fresenius is pleased to report that the mortality rate for this enrolled population has changed from the national average of 22 deaths per 100 to 7.1. Also, the hospital LOS has gone from the national average of 16 days down to 10 days and admissions have gone from the national average of 2.6 to1.2 per year. Members of this special needs health plan will present at your offices with their unique ID cards labeled Fresenius Medical Care Health Plan and will have billing instructions for your office staff touse for payment.
