TIOPA, Inc. became certified as a 5.01 (a) association in July 1195 as a vehicle to accept risk bearing and managed care agreements.
TIOPA, Inc. is an independent, physician owned IPA which is managed by a nine member Board of actively practicing physicians licensed in the State of Texas.
TIOPA's credentialing staff utilizes National Committee of Quality Assurance (NCQA) standards and has received delegated credentialing status for all of the managed care organizations with whom TIOPA is contracted.
